Roles :
To ensure the company’s needs for raw materials and packaging materials are met with the right quality, time and price, carried out in accordance with purchasing procedures by taking into the entire management system implemented by the company to support production activities.
Responsibilities :
- Identify, understand and translate purchasing needs for raw material and packaging material.
- Ensures timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality, timing and price terms.
- Control and ensure all purchasing activities follow procedures and document according to the management system applied by the company.
- Identifies and implements most cost effective and efficient way to purchase overseas and/or local items.
- Evaluate suppliers regularly and coordinate with internal team for any issues with raw material and packaging material.
- Reporting for all activity in the procurement departement and ensure the availability of the data and information with accurate, complete, and timely.
- Develop and evaluate subordinates to improve competency and motivation to achieve department targets.
- Ensure the purchasing activity conducted by requirement of quality, food safety, feed safety, environment, occupational health and safety .
Qualifications :
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Degree from all majors;
- Minimum has 3-5 years of experience in related field and working at multinational company;
- Oleochemical Industry experience preferred;
- Has good understanding of buying process;
- Has good understanding for olechemicals product.
- Very strong communication skills especially in English;
- Ability to respond and deliver under pressure;
- Team player with positive attitude;
- Capable to build internal and external network;
- Have basic knowledge about ISO 9001, Sistem Jaminan Halal, Kosher, FSSC 22000, GMP+B2, ISO 45001 : 2018; ISO 14001;
- Mastering the SAP system for the procurement module
- Willing to be place in Sei Mangkei, Kabupaten Simalungun.

UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
