PT Wampu Electric Power
is a Hydroelectric Project in Indonesia jointly participated by Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. (KOMIPO), POSCO Engineering Co. Ltd. and PT MPM. The 45MW medium-sized hydroelectric power generator is located in the Wampu region of Northern Sumatra and will be the first independent hydroelectric power generator project in Indonesia. PT WEP have a 30 year power purchase agreement with the state-owned untility company, PT PLN.
