Job description & requirements
As Topremit is a leading remittance service company in Indonesia, it is very important for us to make sure everything is secure and in compliance with the law. Not only do we talk about business permits but also about transactions that happen through our platform. The Compliance and Legal department takes part to ensure that accountable decisions are taken at the right level and function in the organization, and that the individuals making those decisions are suitably informed about the level of legal risk inherent within the decision.
What you should have
- Graduated from Civil Law (Hukum Perdata) (max 1 year of experience)
- High proficiency in English (spoken & written)
- Willing to work on weekends/public holiday
- Thirsty for knowledge on Legal Matters (corporate law and procedures in Indonesia)
- Able to write, draft, coordinate, and report agreement letters
- Having great research and analytical skills with the ability to interrogate data.
- Has strong attention to detail, good in report writing and documenting outcomes of investigations
- Highly confident in communication with internal or external parties and able to do negotiation
- Have a good time and task management skill
What you’ll contribute on:
- Conduct compliance operational (verification, transaction, ABAD, abbreviation, etc.)
- Review agreements
- Conduct Client Due Diligence on Topremit’s business client
- Conduct Partner Due Diligence on Topremit’ partner
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
- Conduct due diligence to the potential client
