ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Developed and coordinated departmental ergonomics project that contributed to equipment design changes, business system modifications and revised employee work habits.
2. Evaluated worker’s compensation injuries and return to work job assignments
3. As co-instructor for behavior-based safety process, trained & coached plant-wide staff/production employees and managers.
4. Participated on the Steering Committee that developed action plans for safety improvement and injury reduction
5. As HSE Coordinator, performed job hazard analysis, PPE assessments, ergonomics assessments, safety audits, OSHA/RCRA/Safety training, and evaluated post-injury work restrictions for return to work job task requirements, assisted in OSHA & EPA site visits & inspections by regulatory agencies
6. Manage robust crisis management response capabilities plans and ensure readiness through exercises and drills
7. Manage emergency response plan
8. Coordinate Site Inductions and trainings at a schedule applicable to the needs of the offshore facility
9. Carry out incident investigations and provide technical expertise
10. Monitor Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessment programs for job specific health related hazards and risks
11. Develop environmental Management Strategies are in place to manage the potential impacts on the environment
12. Coordinate HSE Audits/Inspections and ensure that instructions are followed to achieve audit objectives
13. Conduct weekly HSE meetings with all personnel

QUALIFICATION (S) :

1. Fluent in English
2. Ms. Office Literate
3. Certificate K3U / AK3 MIGAS
4. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, Associates Degree with 5 – 7 years of experience, or at least 6 years of experience as a full-time HSE Coordinator.
5. Safety Certification such as CSHO, COSS, CSP,OSHT etc. is desired.
6. Strong working knowledge of OSHA and state rules and regulations 
7. Emergency response training, H2S, First Aid, US DOT, and IADC Well CAP is considered an asset. Additional internal STEP HSE Training will be provided upon hire
