Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and supervises an Operation workforce qualified to perform all work necessary to maintain plant production facilities in a safe and efficient operating conditions;
• Initiates and implements procedures and/or specific instruction for the correct and proper start-up, routine operation and shutdown of turbine and generators and auxiliary equipment; regularly reviews start-up, operating and shutdown procedures are accurate, regularly updated and properly disseminated to subordinates;
• Ensures that the duties, responsibilities and authorities of the subordinates are clearly defined in the job description, approved by the management, and complied by immediate subordinates;
• Prepares and monitors Operations budget and CAPEX of the Operations Section;
• Reviews and appraises the performance of subordinates for maintaining a high standard of performance; makes periodic field inspection to determine progress of work, housekeeping and safety practices and recommends training programs to address work deficiencies. Prepares the necessary documentation on Company policies and safety violations for any employee on-site;
• Formulates procedures in the implementation of immediate actions and corrective measures in the event of critical conditions during emergency operations;
• Receives and handles employee grievances in accordance with established procedures. Promotes good labor relations and ensures that disciplinary problems are fairly resolved in accordance with published Company policies;
• Coordinate with Training Coordinator for the training needs analysis and formulations/design of in-plant training requirement for operations personnel;
• Execute security and safety rules and regulations of the company;
• Implement and comply with company rules and policies;

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical);
• Minimum 10 year technical experience in power plants or similar heavy industry, including 5 years minimum at geothermal facilities;
• Good computer skills; MS Office is mandatory;
• Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically in English language;
• Having experiences in multi-national project development performed in various countries is desirable but not essential;
• Willingness to travel and relocate in Tarutung, North Sumatra;
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary;
• Multi-cultural knowledge and working
