SCM Manager
Role Summary
– The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager is responsible for undisrupted delivery to clients and to ensure Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs.
– The SCM Manager shall develop and maintain strategic initiatives and cost reduction within the organization.
Job Description
- Responsible for effectively handling transportation requirements for clients in Indonesia.
- Develop strategized streamline logistics processes, perform continuous improvement activities on outbound/inbound logistic flows, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure warehousing capacity and optimization.
- Develop strategic action plans for key accounts and strives in achieving them.
- Execute action plans and ensure that revenue goals are achieved that makes a positive contribution to the bottom line.
- Handling any logistical issues and emergency rearrangement that may arise during service delivery and implement service recovery and improvements.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Logistics or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of logistics and warehousing operations, preferably with Chemical Fertilizer, Lubricants oil and Chemical exposure.
- Experienced in streamlining processes and work with cross departments on day-to-day operational process.
- Highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient In English both spoken and written is a Must, able to speak Mandarin and Hokkian will be advantageous.

PT. Asia Kimindo Prima was established on 23 January 1996. Initially, it was built to market and distribute industrial chemical products as well as to manufacture burn lime in Padang, West Sumatra. In 199, AKP added a new product line: fertilizers. It started to market and distributes fertilizers products to customers.
During the last decade, plantation business has grown rapidly which cause the demand and the usage of fertilizers for plantation increase tremendously as well. R & D experts has done excellent job in their research to find the best fertilizers formula mixture for each type of plants by which will bring success to our customers. This opportunity has lead AKP to expand its business along with market emergence in Indonesia.
We believe that the success of the company lies on talented, committed and experienced labors. Most of senior management staff has been working for about 10 years since the company was established. We also catch up with technology innovation to support its operation in order to accomplish its goals and long term objectives.
