ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER
Department : Sales and Marketing
Position / Level : Middle Level Management/Managerial
Location : Medan, Indonesia
Responsibilities
- Focusing in handling Sales of fertilizer for Customer
- Check and Confirm all the claim that submitted by customer
- Give the best service & best solution for any fertilizer issue on customer
- Support and Assist Sales Marketing Department
- Support and Assist on Logistic department
- Finding the best solution on any issue in between company-customer or interdepartment
- Take over when the Commercial Manager is not available and share responsibilities
Main Function
- Sales Marketing on Fertilizer for All Customers.
- Handling all issues related to fertilizer
- Control & ensure best service to customer, including :
– Pricing
– Optimal sales
– Paperwork completion
– Product availability
– On-time delivery
– Good & Proper product quality and/or quantity
– Prompt response to any fertilizer issue
– Building Open Communication & Cooperative Relationship
– Finding any Advance improvement or innovation on product to match customer goals
- Finding the best solution for any discrepancy/issue with customer
- Building open communication & good relationship with supplier
Central communicator between Singapore & Indonesia office, regarding : sales advice, price, aftersales issue, etc.
- Support & Assist Sales team for any external sales issue
- Stock & Inventory Overview to match application timeline
- Communication point for all customers ( via sales team )
- Oversees the operation team with operation manager for logistic
- Oversees and manage all post sales matters ( i.e. notification from Customer, Delivery status update for customers, etc.)
- Manage the Sales Team and ensure they are out in the Field to meet and engage with Customers.
Required Profile
• 25-35 years old
• Minimum possess Diploma’s degree in any major
• Preferably having 1 year related experience in Agrochemical and Fertilizer and 5 years related to Sales
• Familiar with Fertilizer Industry and its channel (dealers, retailers and plantations)
• Good interpersonal skill
• Fluent communication in English and abe to communicate in Mandarin and Hokkian will be an advantage

PT. Asia Kimindo Prima was established on 23 January 1996. Initially, it was built to market and distribute industrial chemical products as well as to manufacture burn lime in Padang, West Sumatra. In 199, AKP added a new product line: fertilizers. It started to market and distributes fertilizers products to customers.
During the last decade, plantation business has grown rapidly which cause the demand and the usage of fertilizers for plantation increase tremendously as well. R & D experts has done excellent job in their research to find the best fertilizers formula mixture for each type of plants by which will bring success to our customers. This opportunity has lead AKP to expand its business along with market emergence in Indonesia.
