Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance at Walepay, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our mobile payment system. You will be responsible for conducting manual testing to identify any software defects or inconsistencies, as well as collaborating with our development team to address and resolve issues. Your attention to detail and thoroughness will contribute to the delivery of a flawless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on the Walepay mobile payment system to identify software bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Create comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test data to ensure full coverage of the system’s functionality.
• Work closely with Developers, and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
• Document clear and detailed defect reports including steps to reproduce actual and expected results.
• Monitor and track software defects, verifying fixes and performing regression testing to ensure issues are resolved.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role, with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing, including both Android and iOS platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and track software defects effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the financial or payment industry.
• Knowledge of QR Code technology and mobile payment systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
