The Role
Witech has immediate requirement for a Senior System Engineer to join the business. The successful candidate will have the following qualities and corresponding focuses:
- At least 6 years experience in similar client facing role, preferably in a fast-paced Managed Services environment
- Understanding of ITIL and Service Management principles
- Experience using an MSP automation toolset such as Datto Autotask
- Understanding and experience in delivering the following technologies & solutions or similar (preferably with some relevant certifications):
- Microsoft technology such as Office 365, Microsoft AD, Exchange & Windows Server
- Server technologies such as HPE, Dell, IBM
- Storage technologies such as HPE
- Backup & DR solutions such as Veeam and Datto
- Virtualisation solutions such as VMware and HyperV
- Networking such as Cisco, Meraki and Sophos Firewalls
- Public Cloud such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Working with Design and Construction software such as Autodesk, Bluebeam or Enscape is a plus. But not a compulsory
In addition, the below following attributes and qualities will help you be successful in this role:
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English and Indonesian
- Having a solutions-focused approach to how you go about you work
- Proven troubleshooting skills and polite phone manner – we’re completely customer obsessed, so you need to be too!
- Resourcefulness, flexibility, sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
- Maintain composure, remaining calm and focused under pressure
