Bintan Exotica Resort is seeking a professional, responsible candidate to join our team in the role of Staff Accountant. We are particularly interested in those with a solid understanding of Accounting, and a preference will be given to applicants with experience in the hospitality finance and accounting sector.
In your role as a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for diligently tracking all financial transactions within the resort, ensuring all money in and out is accurately recorded and managed. Should any discrepancies arise, you will be tasked with investigating and rectifying them, or reporting on the reasons behind their occurrence, whether they be a mistake or a result of fraud. Able to make Monthly and Annual Financial Report.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles.
- Demonstrable creativity, thoroughness, honesty, and responsibility in task execution.
- Must not exceed 25 years of age.
- Proficiency in computer operation, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in accounting program such as Accurate program is a plus.
- Strong team player with a cooperative work attitude.
Education:
- Minimum qualification of a D3 in Economics, preferably majoring in Accounting or Management.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the Hospitality Finance and Accounting industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execution of bookkeeping tasks and journaling of company transactions.
- Reconciliation of bank transactions and effective management of the company’s cash flow.
- Production of accurate month-end accounts, with clear comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
- Preparation of monthly and annually profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management’s review.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and business planning, inclusive of projected room revenue.
